Golf Access

How We Pursue Access — and What We Will Promise

Access is not one thing. Some of it is timing a public tee sheet to the second, some of it is a relationship built over twenty years, and some of it is simply knowing that the answer is no. We will always tell you which one you are dealing with.

The Access Problem

Wanting to Play It Is the Easy Part

The golf that is worth flying for is the golf the ordinary booking systems handle worst. Every course, event and country is closed off in a slightly different way.

What stands in the way

01

Public, but effectively unbookable

Bethpage Black is open to anyone. Visitors who are not verified New York State residents can only reserve from five days out, for a single date, releasing at 7:00 PM New York time.

02

Sold out long before the golf

Championship weeks fill the hotels, the cars and the tables months before the first tee shot. On those weeks the golf is rarely the hardest part to arrange.

03

Private and invitation-only

Some of the world’s greatest courses run entirely on membership and personal invitation. Nobody can sell you that, and any operator promising it outright should be treated with caution.

04

Extraordinary, and a long way out

Northland, Anguilla and the Philippines hold golf worth crossing the world for — and very little of the infrastructure that usually surrounds it.

Where we come in

Twenty-nine years on one problem

We are not a luxury travel company that added golf to a brochure. Global Golf Shuttle started in 1997 moving golfers to the first tee. Coordinating rounds came next, then securing tee times, then the concierge work around them, and now international golf experiences — one problem, followed for nearly thirty years.

How we work is our own. What it means for you is straightforward:

Your access is pursued, confirmed and put in writing before you commit to flights.

Travel, hotels and dining are then scheduled around the golf — never the reverse.

Ground transport is timed to the round, in every city we operate in.

One team, one point of contact, from the first call to the last putt.

We describe access only as accurately as we can deliver it. Where a tee time is secured, we will say secured. Where something depends on a club, an event organiser or a season, we will say that too — before you book, not after.

How It Works

Four steps from enquiry to first tee

One point of contact from the first call to the last putt — no third-party handoffs.

  1. 01
Tell us where you want to playThe course, the event or the country, roughly when, and how many are playing. A short call is usually enough to start.
  2. 02
We tell you what is achievableWe come back on what can be secured for your dates and what is not realistic — before you book flights or commit to anything.
  3. 03
The experience is built around itAdditional rounds, hotels, ground transport, private aviation where it makes sense, dinners and tickets — all set against the confirmed golf.
  4. 04
You playYour itinerary arrives before you fly. The car is outside when you walk out. Our team stays reachable for the whole trip.

Around the Round

Everything That Has to Work Around a Tee Time

This is the part the name refers to. Once the golf is confirmed, the rest of the trip is ours: the way in, where you sleep, how you reach the first tee and what the evenings look like. Transportation and private aviation are how we deliver the golf — not what we sell.

Common Questions

Before you enquire

How do you actually get access?

Differently in every place. Some of it is knowing exactly when a public tee sheet releases and being ready for it. Some of it is relationships built over nearly thirty years. Some of it is being on the ground with the right local operator. What stays constant is that we tell you what is realistic for your specific dates before you commit to anything.

How far ahead should I contact you?

As early as you can, particularly for championship weeks and remote destinations where lodging is the constraint rather than the golf. The more notice we have — and the more flexible your dates — the stronger your position.

I’m flying in from overseas. Can you handle the whole trip?

Yes — that is the brief we are built for. Private jet charter or a commercial arrival met at the airport, the hotels, ground transport timed to every tee, the rounds themselves, dinner reservations, tickets, and the return journey. One team handles all of it.

Where do you arrange golf?

New York is where we started and where we are strongest. We also arrange golf and travel in New Zealand, Japan, Spain, Anguilla and the Philippines, and we will look at a destination we have not worked in before if the brief warrants it.

Can you get us onto a private club?

Private club access runs through membership and personal invitation and cannot be sold as a package — by us or anyone else. Where something is genuinely possible for your dates we will say so; where it is not, we will tell you that too, before you travel.

Do you handle corporate and group outings?

Corporate and group outing coordination is a core service and has been since the beginning. Tell us the headcount and what the day needs to achieve, and we will build the itinerary, the fleet schedule and the evening around it.

Tell Us Where You Want to Play

Send us the course, the event or the country and roughly when. We will come back with what is achievable on those dates, what it costs, and how the rest fits around it — usually the same day.
