Our Base on the Coast
The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa
We could base a Spain week almost anywhere on the Costa del Sol. We keep choosing La Quinta, because nearly everything a golf week needs sits inside one gate.

The rooms

The view
The resort sits in the Benahavís hills above Marbella’s Golf Valley, looking across the fairways to the Mediterranean with the Sierra Blanca behind.
170
rooms and suites
2 + 3
restaurants and bars
1,500 m²
Heavenly Spa
Puerto Banús is ten minutes away, Marbella’s old town a little further, and Málaga airport about forty-five minutes by car.
27
holes by Manuel Piñero
Three Nines, Three Eighteens
One course that plays like three
The Ryder Cup winner Manuel Piñero laid out La Quinta’s 27 holes as three nines. Each pairs with either of the other two, which gives you three different eighteen-hole rounds on one property. We rotate the pairings through your week, and add rounds elsewhere on the coast if the group wants them.

Life at La Quinta
Four good reasons to stay put.
The golf is why you come. What brings groups back is how little of everything else they have to think about once they are here.

01
The Course
Manuel Piñero’s 27 holes in three nines, with a driving range and putting green by the clubhouse. Your tee times are set before you land.

02
The Rooms
170 rooms and suites on the hillside, the panoramic ones looking down the valley to the sea. We hold them together, so the group stays together.

03
The Spa
A 1,500 m² Heavenly Spa with sauna, hammam and a hydro-massage pool — for the afternoon after the second round.

04
The Table
Lunch on the clubhouse terrace, dinner at Sunsa, a late drink in the Aljama bar — and Puerto Banús ten minutes away when the group wants a night out.
Photography shows the Costa del Sol and Andalusia, not the resort itself.

The Global Golf Shuttle Week
Seven days, one base, no loose ends.
This is the shape most of our Spain groups settle into. Every part of it moves — add a round, drop one, stay longer. What does not change is that all of it is arranged before you arrive.
━ Golf day ━ Off the course
Day 1
Arrive
Met at Málaga and driven the forty-five minutes to La Quinta. Dinner at the resort.
Day 2
First eighteen
Two of the three nines, tee times already set.
Day 3
Second eighteen
A different pairing, then an afternoon at the spa.
Day 4
Off the course
Ronda’s gorge and bridge, or Marbella’s old town, with a long lunch.
Day 5
Third eighteen
The last pairing. A night out in Puerto Banús.
Day 6
Your choice
A round elsewhere on the coast, or the favourite again. We book either.
Day 7
Fly home
A slow breakfast, then the transfer back to Málaga.

Day four — Ronda, an easy drive inland.

Day five — Puerto Banús, ten minutes down the hill.
What We Arrange
The whole week, on one menu.
Take all of it or only the parts you need. Everything here is something we book for you, so there is one point of contact from the arrivals hall to the last putt.
I
The Golf
Every trip
All three pairings of the 27 holes, timed around the group rather than the other way round.
On request
When the group wants variety, we add other Costa del Sol courses and the transfers between them.
On request
Booked with the tee time, so nobody has to fly with a bag they would rather leave at home.
II
The Stay
Every trip
Held together for the group, with panoramic rooms where the numbers allow.
On request
Treatments at the Heavenly Spa, fitted around the tee sheet.
III
The Table
Every trip
At the resort, and at the tables worth leaving it for in Puerto Banús and Marbella.
On request
A private group dinner somewhere with a view of the sea.
IV
Getting Around
Every trip
Met on arrival, driven the forty-five minutes to La Quinta, and back again at the end.
On request
Ronda, Marbella’s old town, or the white villages in the hills behind the coast.
Where it fits
For groups flying on their own schedule, a private charter into Málaga.
Start With a Date
Your fairway through Spain starts here.
Send your dates and roughly who is travelling. We will come back with what is realistic for that week — tee times at La Quinta, rooms, transfers and what it costs — before you have booked a thing.
Global Golf Shuttle is an independent travel company. The Westin and La Quinta names belong to their owners; we arrange stays and golf there on our clients’ behalf and are not part of Marriott International.
