A Day at Augusta, Done Properly

Most people at Augusta have a good day. A few have an extraordinary one — and the difference comes down almost entirely to preparation.

Ground transport, arrival time, the shop, where to stand and when: none of it is complicated on its own, but it compounds. A 9:00 AM start instead of 6:00 AM doesn’t cost you an hour. It costs you the shop, the early quiet and the best positions.

Global Golf Shuttle is not affiliated with Augusta National Golf Club or the Masters Tournament. Our role is everything around the day.

At the gates — calm, unhurried and in position before most patrons have parked.

The merchandise pavilion first, while it is a five-minute stop rather than a thirty-minute one.

This trip was a wonderful experience.

The cruise

The cruise was fun and enjoyable.

In the evenings, we played blackjack. Since gambling is prohibited in Japan, it was a great experience.

Playing at TPC Sawgrass, I got a hole-in-one on the 17th short hole with a water hazard and winning the par 3 was an invaluable experience.

The Masters

Above all, being able to watch the Masters was fantastic.

Sunday, 3 AM

On the final day, we woke up at 3 AM, lined up at the gate at 4 AM, and after four hours, secured seats on the 18th green with our chairs, which was great.

Thanks to that, we were able to witness McIlroy’s tears of joy as he won in the final group.
